9.5
Best RGB Gaming Laptop
Acer Nitro 5 Gaming Laptop

Equipped with Intel i5-12500H and RTX 3050, I was able to play most of the games at 1080p. I did experience smoother gameplay and better visuals thanks to the 144Hz refresh rate and improved calibration. The laptop is equipped with 15.6 inch FULL HD display and 8 GB DDR4 Ram.

POSITIVES
  • Intel 12th gen processor which makes use of E-cores and P-cores for better efficiency
  • Good keyboard
  • Improved display over last generation Acer Nitro
NEGATIVES
  • Only 8 GB of RAM
  • No MUX switch

Acer Nitro is a great budget performance laptop, and this latest iteration with Intel 12th gen processor is a great value 1080p gaming laptop. Although in some heavy titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Control, I had to reduce the settings to medium or use DLSS to get an extra FPS boost. Nevertheless, it is great for most competitive tiles like Valorant, Fortnite, and popular titles like GTA V.

The display has been improved over the last generation. Using an Intel processor gives you less battery life in most cases, and it is true in this case too. I was able to squeeze out 5-6 hours of battery life on moderate usage, and it could have been better. Overall, it is a great value laptop that has improved over its last generation with a better display, new design, and better keyboard.

Features:

  • Processor: Intel i5-12500H
  • Graphics: RTX 3050 4GB DDR6
  • RAM: 8GB DDR4 RAM, Single Channel (Upgradeable up to 32GB)

ASUS TUF Gaming A15

Powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 4800H and RTX 3050, asus A15 provides a good balance of performance with price.

It plays popular titles like Valorant and Fortnite flawlessly at high framerates, and the display helps enhances the gameplay. It has an upgradable RAM slot upto 32 gb, but has 8 gb ram present for the optimal performance

POSITIVES
  • Power efficient processor
  • Impressive battery life
  • Good displayĀ

  • Optimus lets you switch primary GPU for extra performance (only for external display)

NEGATIVES
  • Prone to heating even while doing the non-intensive task
  • No MUX switch

Asus TUF is another line of laptops that are well known for making good-performance budget laptops. It has a great display and impressive battery life, which is major because of power efficient Ryzen processor. I managed to play most of the games at 1080p, medium to high settings with close to 60fps. Although in some games, like Forza Horizon 5, which requires more VRAM at the highest settings, I was limited by 4GB of VRAM.

I was able to enjoy all the games tear-free with a 144Hz refresh rate. The display seems flimsy, but it has no noticeable wobble, and the keyboard is pleasant to type on. Overall, if the price to performance is a concern, Asus TUFA15 is one of the best gaming laptops under 90000.

Features:

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H
  • Graphics: RTX 3050 4GB DDR6 (75W TDP)

HP Victus Latest Amd Ryzen 7-5800H

The hp victus power seems less for RTX graphics, 75W is good for 3050 and does not appear to compromise much power. The 16GB RAM helped me in non-gaming tasks and reducing frame drops while playing games. Despite having a 100% sRGB colour gamut, it lacks brightness and has a slow reaction rate.

POSITIVES
  • Power efficient processor
  • 100% sRGB colour gamut for accurate representation
  • Impressive battery life
  • 16GB dual channel memory out of the box
NEGATIVES
  • Prone to heating even while doing the non-intensive task
  • The display has low response rate

The HP Victus is the finest budget gaming laptop on this list, with an RTX 3050 GPU and a TDP of 75W. Although the power seems less for RTX graphics, 75W is good for 3050 and does not appear to compromise much power. I was able to achieve a respectable battery life thanks to the AMD Ryzen7 5800H CPU. Although I mainly use it for gaming, battery life is vital for non-gaming tasks. I was able to run every game at medium-high settings at 60fps with the RTX 3050. The display could have been better, but what more do you want for the price?

The slow response time did not affect me when gaming, but it may impact those who enjoy intense competitive gaming. The RAM is in a dual-channel mode which makes it even better. Overall, a fantastic affordable laptop with excellent build quality, speed, and a respectable display. Thus, with these fantastic features hp has proven why they are one of the top laptop brand in india. It is a great overall gaming laptop under 90000.

Features:

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H

Best Graphics Laptop
Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3

The 16GB RAM in dual-channel mode helped me keep the framerates more stable in games and plow through any tasks like video editing pretty easily. It is a little faster than Asus TUF A15 and Victus because of its higher 85W TDP. It has 16 GB dual channel RAM and 3 USB ports.

POSITIVES
  • 85W TDP RTX 3050 graphics
  • Great build quality
  • Good battery life
  • 16GB dual channel memory out of the box
NEGATIVES
  • 45% NTSC colour coverage only
  • Lid attracts fingerprints

Lenovo has several lines of laptops that are gaming oriented. While their Legion series is geared towards high-performance gaming, Ideapad Gaming is a more budget-focused laptop. Performance-wise, it is similar to many other RTX 3050 laptops in this list. I did not notice much of a difference in performance owing to the TDP increase, but it may benefit from it on titles like Forza Horizon 5, and Control which is a little more demanding.

While it may be similar in performance, it comparatively has much better build quality and cooling. I did not notice any heating issues while using it for low-level tasks, and the AMD Ryzen processor helps maintain its battery life. It is also lighter in comparison, and I found it quite easy to carry around and felt easy to hold or carry around. If you are looking for a laptop with a good build quality, battery life, and gaming performance, this is one of the best gaming laptops under 90000.

Features:

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H
  • Graphics: RTX 3050 4GB DDR6 (85W TDP)
  • RAM: 16GB DDR4 RAM, Dual Channel (Upgradeable up to 32GB)
  • Storage: 512GB NVMe SSD Gen 4
  • Display: 15.6″ IPS, Full HD 1920 x 1080, 120 Hz refresh rate, 45% NTSC
  • Ports: 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 (Data transfer), 1x 3.5mm Jack, 1x HDMI 2.0, 1x Ethernet (RJ-45)

Amazing display
Asus ROG Strix G17 AMD RYZEN 7

It comes with a 17-inch screen which is considerably larger than the standard 15.6-inch display. The refresh rate of 144Hz and the high response rate of the panel made the game tear-free and smooth as butter. It is made of aluminium chassis, which helps in better cooling and looks impressive.

POSITIVES
  • Great build quality
  • Great cooling
  • Impressive battery life
  • An amazing display with the superior response rate
NEGATIVES
  • PCIe 3.0 gen SSD
  • Expensive

Asus ROG is the flagship laptop model from Asus, which shows in the price! This laptop is powered by powerful RTX GTX 3050Ti graphics, which is powerful and it has some other benefits and charm. The first thing I noticed about the laptop is its amazing build quality.

I was able to play most titles, albeit with reduced settings, at 1080p, and i was able to turn up the settings for more demanding games. Nevertheless, it is perfect for competitive titles where I could play CS: GO and Valorant at more than 100fps.

I noticed the higher quality display made a difference in the overall gameplay experience. I had a lot of fun playing games on a portable machine with a larger display, especially competitive titles. If you are looking for a great display, impressive battery life, and build quality but ready to sacrifice some performance, Asus ROG Strix is the best gaming laptop under 90000 for you.

Features:

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H
  • Graphics: GTX 3050ti 4GB DDR6 (95W TDP)
  • RAM: 16GB DDR6 RAM, Single Channel (Upgradeable up to 32GB)
  • Storage: 1TB NVMe SSD Gen 3
  • Display: 17.3″ vIPS, Full HD 1920 x 1080, 144 Hz refresh rate, 62.5% sRGB

Lenovo Legion 5 Intel Core i5

the MUX switch allows me to directly connect to my GPU rather than the processor, which gives it around a 10% boost in performance. This laptop contains RTX 3050 4GB DDR6 (95W TDP) graphics, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD Gen 3 and 17.3″ vIPS, Full HD Display.

POSITIVES
  • 95W TDP for RTX 3050
  • Great cooling
  • Good build quality
  • An amazing display with the superior response rate
  • Supports GPU and processor overclocking
NEGATIVES
  • Only 8GB of RAM with 2933MHz
  • The display could have been better

Lenovo’s Legion is a more performance gaming-oriented laptop, and it shows its performance. It is equipped with the Intel i5-10500H, which is not the best processor on this list but has some clear advantages which many others don’t

The first thing I noticed was the build quality and the keyboard. The keyboard is fantastic to type on, and the build quality is impressive, contributing to better cooling. The performance is on par with any other laptop where I was able to play most of the modern AAA titles like Horizon Zero Dawn, Control at medium to high settings, or with DLSS.

Although I was getting much more performance than other laptops in this list because of the MUX switch. The only downside is that it comes with 8GB RAM, but you can upgrade it, considering it is priced similarly to other budget gaming laptops. Because of the MUX switch and performance-wise, this is one of the best laptops under 90k.

Features:

  • Processor: Intel i5-10500H
  • Graphics: RTX 3050 4GB DDR6 (95W TDP)
  • RAM: 8GB DDR4 RAM, Single Channel (Upgradeable up to 32GB)
  • Storage: 512GB NVMe SSD Gen 3
  • Display: 17.3″ vIPS, Full HD 1920 x 1080, 144 Hz refresh rate, 62.5% sRGB
  • Ports: x RJ45 LAN port, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C support DisplayPort / power delivery / G-SYNC, 3x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 1x 3.5mm Combo Audio Jack, 1x HDMI 2.0b

7. Acer Aspire 5 12TH Gen Gaming Laptop

9.4
Best RTX2050 Budget Laptop
Acer Aspire 5 12TH Gen Gaming Laptop

It is powered by the latest Intel i5-1240p, a low-powered processor for thin and light laptops. I found it to be the perfect pairing for the RTX 2050, which isn’t a particularly very powerful GPU. You can use DLSS to improve your framerates without sacrificing much visual quality.

POSITIVES
  • LightweightĀ
  • Good build quality and design
  • RTX 2050 gives DLSS on budget
NEGATIVES
  • 60Hz refresh rate
  • Battery life could have been better

Acer Aspire Gaming is another budget-oriented gaming laptop from Acer. It is one of the first laptops to use the new (weird) RTX 2050 GPU, which is a little better than 1650 but performs worse than RTX 3050. I was able to play modern titles at medium settings, but older popular titles like GTA V ran well, which isn’t very demanding. I was able to run competitive titles like Fortnite well at high framerates.

This laptop’s biggest advantage is that it brings DLSS on budget. Battery life is average, but I found the display to be good for its price. I was able to enjoy tear-free gaming with this display, even though it is not the best with accurate colour reproduction. This is a good laptop to consider if you are looking for a light gaming laptop that can perform fairly well in games and for non-gaming tasks.

Features:

  • Processor: Intel i5-1240p
  • Graphics: RTX 2050 4GB DDR6 (65W TDP)
  • RAM: 8GB DDR4 RAM, Single Channel (Upgradeable up to 32GB)
  • Storage: 512GB NVMe SSD Gen 3
  • Display: 15.6″ IPS, Full HD 1920 x 1080, 60 Hz refresh rate, 62.5% sRGB
  • Ports: x RJ45 LAN port, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C support DisplayPort / power delivery / G-SYNC, 3x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 1x 3.5mm Combo Audio Jack, 1x HDMI 2.0b

8. Dell G5 AMD Ryzen 5-5600H

9.2
Contains RTX 3050 Graphics
Dell G5 AMD Ryzen 5-5600H

The laptop has 15.6″ IPS Full HD 1920 x 1080 display with 120 Hz refresh rate. This laptop is powered by the Ryzen 5 5600H and RTX 3050 at 85W TDP, which is perfect for budget performance at this price.

POSITIVES
  • 16GB RAM
  • Good build quality and design
  • 85W TDP RTX 3050 graphics
NEGATIVES
  • Battery life is below averageĀ
  • The display is slightly worse than other laptops of the same price and similar specs.
  • Slower RAM

The Dell G series is one of the better gaming laptops in this market, but they have downsides. I saw no difficulty running most modern titles at medium to high settings or with DLSS at 1080p. The overall design and the build quality of this laptop is impressive. Having said that, its cooling is average, and you might also see some heat while using it for non-intensive tasks.

Even though it has 16GB of RAM, it uses a slower 2933MHz RAM. I found the heating to be slightly better than Asus TUF, but it is worse when it comes to displaying. Nevertheless, it is a great-looking laptop with good performance, but it sacrifices battery life, slower RAM, and display.

Features:

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600H
  • Graphics: RTX 3050 4GB DDR6 (85W TDP)
  • RAM: 16GB DDR4 RAM, Single Channel (Upgradeable up to 32GB)
  • Storage: 512GB NVMe SSD Gen 4
  • Display: 15.6″ IPS, Full HD 1920 x 1080, 120 Hz refresh rate, 62.5% sRGB
  • Ports: x RJ45 LAN port, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C support DisplayPort / power delivery, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 1x 3.5mm Combo Audio Jack, 1x HDMI 2.0b

9. MSI GF63 Thin Hexa Core

msi gf63
9.3
Thin and Lightweight Laptop
MSI GF65 Thin Hexa Core

Despite being powered by an older 10th generation Intel i7-10750H CPU, it is an excellent match for the RTX 3050. It has 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and 512 GB of SSD storage. The monitor has a conventional FD IPS panel with a refresh rate of 144Hz.

POSITIVES
  • RTX 3050 graphics on a budget
  • Thin and lightweight
  • Good display

  • 16 GB of RAM

NEGATIVES
  • Battery life is below averageĀ
  • Build quality is low

MSI GF63 Thin series laptops are thin and light. They are substantially lighter and slimmer than other regular gaming laptops. Because of the reduced TDP, performance suffers, although it is enough for casual, mid-range gaming.

Although I could play most of the games at high settings without decreasing visual quality too much, even though it is not as powerful as RTX 3060 laptops with higher power limits, it is still better than RTX 2080, which is bottlenecked by 4GB VRAM.

RAM may be increased to 32GB and storage to a 1TB SSD. The monitor is properly tuned for gaming. I was able to enjoy all the games without any tears or artifacts. The only downside of getting RTX 3050 on a budget is that you get low build quality and worse battery life. Overall, a wonderful choice if you want a slimmer gaming laptop that weights less and has something better than RTX 2080.

Features:

  • Processor: Intel i7-10750H
  • Graphics: RTX 3050 6GB DDR6
  • RAM: 16GB DDR4 RAM, Single Channel (Upgradeable up to 32GB)
  • Storage: 512GB NVMe SSD Gen 4
  • Display: 15.6″ IPS, Full HD 1920 x 1080, 144 Hz refresh rate, 62.5% sRGB
  • Ports: x RJ45 LAN port, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C support DisplayPort / power delivery, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 1x 3.5mm Combo Audio Jack, 1x HDMI 2.0b

10. Dell G15 Intel I5-11400H Gaming Laptop

dell g15
9.1
Good Build Quality Laptop
Dell G15 Intel I5-11400H Gaming Laptop

It is powered by Intel i5-11400H, which is a good processor at this price. While it is very similar in performance to RTX 3050 laptops, it does provide more TDP and slightly more improved performance.

POSITIVES
  • 16GB RAM
  • Good build quality and design
  • 90W TDP RTX 3050Ti graphics
NEGATIVES
  • Battery life is below averageĀ
  • Display is slightly worse than other laptops of the same price and similar specs

In terms of performance, it is 5-8% quicker than the RTX 3050 laptops listed above. It has RTX 3050Ti, which is not much powerful compared to the RTX 3050 and neither does it give more VRAM. I didn’t see much difference in performance due to the TDP increase, although it could benefit from it in games like Forza Horizon 5 and Control, which are a bit more demanding.

While it offers a little better performance, it has battery life problems as it is not good at holding a charge for long. The display performance is very similar to other laptops in this price range, but I could enjoy good high refresh rate gaming with this laptop. If you are looking for a good laptop with performance and good looks, this one is good for you.

Features:

  • Processor: Intel i5-11400H
  • Graphics: RTX 3050Ti 4GB DDR6 (90W TDP)
  • RAM: 16GB DDR4 RAM, Dual Channel (Upgradeable up to 32GB)
  • Storage: 512GB NVMe SSD Gen 4
  • Display: 15.6″ IPS, Full HD 1920 x 1080, 120 Hz refresh rate, 62.5% sRGB
  • Ports: x RJ45 LAN port, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C support DisplayPort / power delivery, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 1x 3.5mm Combo Audio Jack, 1x HDMI 2.0b

Buying Guide for Best Gaming Laptops Under 90000

Buying guide for laptops under 90000

1. Build Quality and Design

90000 is a lot of money, and at this price, it is important to buy a laptop with good build quality because it has to last you longer. Build quality includes the material used in the chassis, the longevity of the hinges, the screen wobble, and flex on the keyboard and lid.

Build quality can also include the cooling of the laptop. A plastic build will have worse cooling than a laptop with aluminium chassis.

It is not that plastic chassis laptops are bad but or will have bad cooling. It is important to note other things like lid flex and screen wobble, which are more relevant to daily usage. Design is subjective since I may not like what you like. Build quality is a more objective parameter to judge a laptop.

2. Display

The display is something that can some people care about, and some don’t. You might sacrifice some performance for a better display, or you might want all the performance even at the cost of the display. For gaming laptops in this price range, a display with an IPS panel and FHD resolution is the minimum parameter to be considered good.

It is even better if you get a laptop with a wider colour gamut like Victus. 45% NTSC or 62.5% sRGB is the most common colour coverage for most laptops. This is good for gaming, but you might want a more accurate display for tasks like photo editing, video editing, or anything involving colours.

You can always use an external monitor to enhance the visual experience. But, if you want the laptop to have a great display, it is better to have a laptop with better colour accuracy.

3. Graphics

For a gaming laptop in the price range of 90000, graphics are probably the most important aspect since your gaming performance will depend on it. The market is flooded with RTX 3050 laptops in this price range, but they are entry-level graphics made for 1080p gaming.

It is also held back by its 4GB VRAM, which limits its framerates in open-world games like Forza Horizon 5. You can also get RTX 3060 laptops, but they often lack things like better build quality or battery life.

At this price range, it is also not worth going for RTX 2050, GTX 1650, or RX 5500M laptops, which are worse than RTX 3050 laptops. You may opt for them if you want something other than just performance.

4. Processor

The processor is another important aspect of the overall performance of your laptop. At this price range, it is usually better for AMD, but the arrival of Intel 12th gen processors has taken that away from AMD. Although Intel 12th gen processors are more costly, AMD processors make for better value processors.

At this price range, your aim should be to get an Intel 11tth or 12th gen processor. For AMD, 4000 or 5000 series should be the primary pick. Another important factor that is linked to processors is the overall battery life.

AMD processors are more power efficient than their Intel counterparts which makes the AMD processors more apt for people looking for better battery life in their laptops. 6 cores and 8 cores are the most common and mainstream core count in this price range, and anything lower than that is not worth it in this price range.

5. Battery Life

A laptop’s battery life depends on three main things- Processor, graphics TDP, and battery capacity. If a processor is not power efficient, it will have worse battery life, and low battery capacity makes it even worse. Even if the laptop has a bigger battery capacity, it will have less life if it uses a non-efficient processor like Intel 10th gen.

Conclusion

Laptops in this price range have excellent performance, but many manufacturers cut corners on other variables like RAM, display, and cooling to save money. This price range is also tricky because most laptops are equipped with RTX 3050, which seems like a non-ideal choice at this price.

Nevertheless, it is the only option at this price, and the laptops featured here are the finest, under 90000 rupees. I hope this article has assisted you in narrowing down your options.
